Stainless Steel Turkey
Deep Fryer
Feeling overwhelmed thinking about producing that
traditional holiday meal?
Feeling overwhelmed thinking about producing that
traditional holiday meal? Considering calling the whole thing
off and going out to one of the local restaurants that serve
the meal?
Thinking about running to the local grocery store and just
bringing home the entire meal in a box? There is another answer
that will save the home cooked meal but also save you time and
energy! Invest in a stainless steel turkey deep fryer.
This method will cook the turkey in a fraction of the time
it takes to roast a turkey in the oven and produce a delicious,
tender and crisp turkey. With the deep fryer, you can use a
special injecting device to infuse your favorite marinade into
the turkey, either mild or strong depending on your taste.
This will get the flavor to all parts of the turkey, rather
than just where the traditional stuffing would have added some
flavor. You can also use many types of rubs and marinade that
are available on the market.
This will also add flavor to the turkey, which some people
consider to have a "dull" meat flavor. The fryer does take a
considerable amount of oil. To measure out how much oil will be
needed, put the turkey in the fryer and fill will enough water
to cover the turkey.
Remove the turkey and note where on the fryer the water
level is. Remove the water and replace with the oil. If you do
this right before starting to cook the turkey, the turkey will
still be covered in water which will help prevent oil from
getting into the turkey.
The infusion and/or rubs will add the necessary flavor. You
cannot stuff a turkey which is going to be deep fried. As with
the traditional turkey when using stuffing, there can be health
issues involved with the stuffing absorbing the raw juices.
Cook the stuffing in a casserole dish and you won’t have to
worry about making people ill! Make sure that you read all of
the instructions carefully before using the fryer.
Hot oil can be dangerous so please read and follow all
instructions in the manual regarding the use and safety of the
fryer. More and more people are turning to this method of
cooking the holiday meal.
Using the fryer will save time and effort but still have you
at home, enjoying more time with the family and friends but
with a lot less work. Give yourself permission to take some
shortcuts and cut out some of the work.
Buy the bottled gravy – they are healthier anyway with a lot
less fat. Dress up the boxed or bagged stuffing with some of
your own ideas. Buy the frozen or boxed mashed potatoes. Don’t
forget the purpose of the holidays – to enjoy family, friends
and time together.
Don’t be stuck thinking that the "traditional" wasy is the
only way. The turkey will come out looking wonderful and
tasting great and everyone will be talking about the fryer and
enjoying the company and companionship and you will have a lot
less work before, during and after the meal.
